Running car catches fire in Kannur, two including pregnant woman in labour pain killed

KANNUR: A couple was killed when the car in which they were travelling caught fire. The incident happened near the Kannur district hospital. The two were charred to death. They have been identified as Prajith (32) of Kuttiattoor and his wife Reesha (26).

The accident happened when they were going to the hospital after Reesha was in labour pain. There were six people in the car. Four including a child sitting behind have been rescued. They have been hospitalized. Initial reports said the fire spread from the front portion of the car.
