Government declares Bakrid holidays on June 27 and 28.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The government has declared a two-day holiday for Bakrid (Eid al-Adha). In addition to June 27, a holiday has also been announced for June 28. According to the official calendar, the holiday was scheduled for June 27. However, Bakrid celebrations in the state will be held on June 28. The government order states that all government offices, public sector institutions, and educational institutions, including professional colleges, will remain closed on June 28.
