'Did you inform everyone at home?': Mohanlal's question to Shaji Kailas in first-ever meeting

Director Shaji Kailas recently spoke about his friendship with Mohanlal. The director said his first-ever 'action' was to Mohanlal. The opportunity came when he was an associate director in a film directed by Balu Kiriyath. Shaji further said that he had known Mohanlal since his studies in MG College and saw Mohanlal with great curiosity as a person who has a swag around him.

'I am studying as an SFI student in MG College. I first saw Mohanlal being part of a big march. One who walks with style. He and his gang often stood in front of the secretariat. Later, I met Mohanlal on the location of Nayagan directed by Balu Kiryath. He understood as soon as he saw me. The first question was whether I informed everyone at home. In those days, I had a habit of going for cinema-related journeys without informing anyone. My friendship with Mohanlal started from that location", Shaji Kailas said.

Shaji Kailas said that Mohanlal has promised to act in his movie if there is a good story.
