Malayalam is now left with the void of screenwriter Dennis Joseph following his untimely demise. Actors Mammootty and Mohanlal penned emotional notes on social media following his death. The duo said in their social media posts that their personal relationship with Dennis is endless and that he will be remembered through all the films he has written and directed. Dennis Joseph has written the best films in Mammootty and Mohanlal's careers. Mammootty starrer New Delhi and Mohanlal's Rajavinte Makan are the two films that made them superstars.
Mammootty's post:
'I am deeply saddened by the untimely demise of Dennis Joseph. The brother-like friend who was with me in growth and depression is no more, and he will be remembered through all the films he wrote and directed. I wish you eternal peace. '
Mohanlal's response:
'As I write these lines for my beloved Dennis, it feels like memories are coming out of nowhere and stopping my hands. Dennis was the king of the screenplay world. I'm the one who was lucky enough to give life to so many characters who were born as children of that king. Dennis was love that hid behind a gentle smile and never expected anything in return.
