Marakkar to release in theatres on Dec 2: Minister Saji Cherian

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Mohanlal-starrer 'Marakkar-Lion of the Arabian Sea' will release in theatres on December 2, minister Saji Cherian said on Thursday. The decision was taken after a discussion with producer Antony Perumbavoor and others. The minister said that Antony Perumbavoor made a huge sacrifice to release the film in theatres. The decision to release the film in theatres comes after the makers announced that the film will release on an OTT platform.

"The film will be released in theaters without any conditions. The seating capacity in theatres will be increased before the release if he films," Saji Cherian said. It is learnt that "Marakkar' will release on OTT platforms after the theatrical release.
