Bharat Biotech to supply Covaxin directly to 14 states, Kerala not in first phase list

NEW DELHI: Kerala is not in the first list of states where Covaxin, Bharat Biotech's Covid vaccine, is directly supplied. Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu are among the southern states where the vaccine is provided since early May. In addition, Bharat Biotech will directly supply vaccine to a total of 14 states, including Maharashtra, Delhi and Gujarat. The list of these states was announced today. At the same time, Bharat Biotech said it would consider the demand of other states as per availability.
