LUCKNOW: A recent report claimed that two children were allegedly chained in a madrassa in Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh. According to the report, the children were chained in order to prevent them from running away from the madrassa.

Upon learning about the incident, some of the locals shot the video of the children and sent it to the police. Following this, police reached the area and rescued the children. They also took the accused into custody. Meanwhile, the parents of the children have filed a written application with the police stating that they did not want to take legal action against the madrassa.

The parents informed the police that they had asked the authorities of the madrassa to treat the children strictly as the children had attempted to run away from the madrassa several times. The children said that they attempted to run away from the madrassa as they did not want to study.
