Devastated over her lover's death, woman sets herself on fire

GURUGRAM: Distraught over her lover's suicide, a woman died by setting herself on fire. Manju (30), a native of Bihar, died while undergoing treatment at Delhi's Safdarjung Hospital.

On Sunday night, the woman allegedly set herself on fire at a rented house in Sector 37 area. Following this, she was admitted to the hospital and reportedly passed away on Tuesday.

According to the police, Manju, who was an employee of a private company in Gurugram, was in love with Babulal, a businessman. Babulal, who was married, shot himself dead on Sunday. After getting this information, Manju poured kerosene on her body and set her ablaze, police said. The police informed that the body will be handed over to the relatives after the post-mortem.
