Five-year-old boy killed in stray dog attack in Hyderabad; second incident in a month

HYDERABAD: A five-year-old boy was killed in a stray dog attack in Telangana's Khammam district. This is the second attack reported within a month. A boy named Banoth Bharatg of Puttani Thanda in Raghunathapalem constituency was seriously injured in the stray dog attack. Bharath was attacked by a dog while he was playing on the street. The boy who was injured died on the way to a nearby private hospital.

Last month, a four-year-old boy was killed by stray dogs in Hyderabad. The next day also, a four-year-old boy was injured in a stray dog attack. Telangana government has directed Special Chief Secretary Arvind Kumar to implement a special plan against stray dog attacks in the city.
