Husband kills wife to claim insurance money; this is how he learnt to commit crime

BHOPAL: A man who killed his wife to claim insurance money has been arrested. Badriprasad Meena, a native of Rajgarh in Madhya Pradesh, was arrested by the police. He shot his wife Pooja at Mana Jod on Bhopal Road on July 26 at around 9 pm. He committed the murder to pay off his debts. Badriprasad learned to commit the crime through watching videos in the internet and had earlier taken insurance on his wife's behalf. He intended to kill Pooja and then claim the insurance money to pay off his debts.

He filed a complaint against four people to divert the police investigation. But by the last stage of the investigation, it was proved that they were not involved in the murder. Pooja died during treatment at the hospital. Along with Badriprasad, two people who were involved in the incident are still absconding. The police have registered a case of murder against him and the other accused.
