Amritpal Singh (Independent)

Khadur Sahib (Punjab)

Majority 197120

He is a Khalistan supporter and the head of 'Waris Punjab De' organization. Since 2023, he has been in jail in Assam's Dibrugarh under the National Security Act. Amritpal Singh defeated Congress leader Kulbir Singh Zira.

Engineer Rasheed (Independent)

Baramulla (Jammu and Kashmir)

Majority 204142

He has been in Delhi's Tihar Jail since 2019 under the UAPA Act in a terror funding case. He is the leader of Awami Ittehad Party. Rashid defeated National Conference leader Omar Abdullah, a former MLA.

At the same time, four people who are only 25 years old have won seats in the Lok Sabha this time. These are the 'babies' of Loksabha. Shambhavi Choudhary of the Lok Janata Shakti Party, Pushpendra Saroj and Priya Saroj who contested on the Samajwadi Party ticket of the Congress and Sanjana Jadhav of the Congress are going to be the youngest MPs.

Shambhavi Choudhary

Shambhavi Choudhary is the daughter of Ashok Choudhary, who was a minister in the Nitish Kumar cabinet in Bihar. The 25-year-old NDA candidate won from the Samastipur constituency by defeating Congress' Sunny Hazari. Sunny Hazari is the son of JDU Minister Maheshwar Hazari. During the campaign, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that Shambhavi is the youngest candidate of the NDA.

Sanjana Jadhav

25-year-old Sanjana Jadhav won from Rajasthan's Bharatpur constituency. She defeated BJP's Ramswaroop Koli by a margin of 51,983 votes. In the 2023 assembly elections, she lost to BJP's Ramesh Khedi by 409 votes. Her husband is Kaptan Singh, a police officer.

Pushpendra Saroj

Pushpendra Saroj is entering politics as SP candidate from the Kaushambi seat which was previously held by BJP. He defeated sitting BJP MP Vinod Kumar Sonkar by a margin of 103,944 votes. He is the son of five-time MLA and former Uttar Pradesh Minister Inderjit Saroj.

Priya Saroj

Won from Machhlishahr constituency in Uttar Pradesh by a margin of 35,850 votes. She contested against sitting BJP MP Bholanath. Priya is the daughter of three-time MP Tufani Saroj.
