17 killed in massive fire at Delhi hotel


NEW DELHI: A massive fire broke out at a central Delhi hotel Tuesday morning, killing at least nine people, fire officials said.
Nine people were also injured, they said.
The fire broke out at Hotel Arpit Palace on the Gurudwara road in Karol Bagh at 4:35 AM. It has been reported that one Keralite is also killed in the accident. More than 60 people suffered burns. The dead has been identified as 53-year old Jayasree, native of Kerala.
