BENGALURU: As the Bharat Jodo Yatra led by Rahul Gandhi is about to enter Karnataka soon, the Congress has stepped up its campaign against the ruling BJP. Posters captioned 'PayCM' with the image of Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and a QR code have been put up all over Bengaluru.

Scanning the QR code on the Chief Minister's photo will direct you to a site with address 40percentsarkara.com, which is created by the Congress. The site was created to protest the 40 percent commission rate that contractors have claimed has become the norm for all government contracts under the BJP regime in Karnataka. People can also raise complaints against the government through the website.

Congress is now focusing on corruption allegations against the state government. Senior Karnataka Congress leader Siddaramaiah had recently mocked the BJP government by calling it a '40 per cent government'. The Congress said it would question the government's silence on corruption-related questions.
