PM CARES Fund: Centre nominates Ratan Tata, KT Thomas and Kariya Munda as new trustees

NEW DELHI: Tata Sons Chairman Ratan Tata, former Supreme Court judge Justice KT Thomas and former Lok Sabha Deputy Speaker Kariya Munda have been nominated as the new trustees of PM CARES Fund. The decision was taken by the meeting of the Board of Trustees of PM CARES Fund held last day under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Various initiatives implemented with the help of PM CARES Fund including PM CARES for Children were presented in the meeting. The trust also decided to nominate some eminent persons for the constitution of Advisory Board to PM CARES Fund, including Rajiv Mehrishi, former Comptroller and Auditor General of India; Sudha Murthy, former Chairperson, Infosys Foundation; Anand Shah, Co-founder of Teach for India and former CEO of Indicorps and Piramal Foundation.
