NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court has rejected a petition seeking cancellation of the medical PG examination. The petition sought an assessment on the basis of the internal marks. The petition was filed by seventeen medical PG students.
The bench, headed by Justice Indira Banerjee, pointed out that there are a large number of students who want to write the exam when a section wants the exam to be canceled. The petitioners had pointed out that all the PG students were attending Covid duties in hospitals and many were unable to prepare for the exams. However, the apex court refused to cancel the examinations.
