Sedition case against Aisha Sultana, case registered on complaint by Lakshadweep BJP president

KAVARATTI: A sedition case has been registered against actress Aisha Sultana for using 'bio-weapon' remark. Kavaratti police have registered a case against her. The case is based on a complaint by Lakshadweep BJP president C Abdul Khader Haji.

Earlier, Aisha Sultana had alleged that the BJP was trying to portray her as a traitor. Aisha had said that there was an attempt to create problems by misinterpreting the use of the term 'bioweapon' she used in a channel debate on Monday.
