Adam Ali tied bricks to Manorama's body before dumping body in the well; CCTV footage comes out

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Police have released the CCTV footage in connection with the murder of elderly woman Manorama in Kesavadasapuram. The CCTV footage shows the accused Adam Ali dumping the body of Manorama in a nearby well after murdering her. Adam Ali, a native of Cooch Behar in West Bengal, committed the murder during an attempt to steal gold from Manorama's house. Later, he was caught by the railway security forces in Chennai while trying to flee to Bengal.

It was Adam Ali himself who dumped Manorama's body in the well after the murder. He had tied her legs together and tied bricks to the legs before dumping the body in the well. The accused was fully aware of the house. According to the police, Adam Ali killed Manorama by slitting her throat with a knife when she screamed for help.
