All of Deeksha’s dealings were via social media, famous transgender modelling artiste held with lethal drugs

KOCHI: A transgender modelling artist was taken into custody by the excise with the strongest drug MDMA. The Ernakulam range excise took Deeksha (Sreeraj 24) into custody from her apartment in Vazhakkala, Cherthala. 8.5 grams of MDMA were seized from her. Her business was after staying in hotels in and around Kochi. She sold the stuff brought from Goa and Bengaluru via her friends for Rs 4000 to Rs 7000. Her dealings were through telegram group.

She was taken into custody by a team led by Ernakulam range inspector M S Haneefa, preventive officer S Suresh Kumar, city metro shadow preventive officer N G Ajith Kumar, civil excise officer N D Tomy, women cops K S Soumya and C G Pramitha.
