Congress block president in Kannur sustains serious injuries in attack, blames RSS for act

KANNUR: There was an attack towards the Panoor block congress president K P Hasheem. He was attacked at 9 pm last night in Aniyaram Valiyandi Peedika.

There was a scuffle between the Congress and RSS in the premises of the Kurumbakkavu temple in Panniyannur. So, the Congress is alleging that the RSS is behind the attack.

Seriously injured Hasheem has been admitted at the Indira Gandhi Cooperative Hospital in Thalassery. The police informed that a case has been registered in the incident and an investigation has started.
