Conspiracy case: First day of interrogation of Dileep and others completed

KOCHI: The first day of interrogation of actor Dileep and others in the case of hatching conspiracy to endanger the investigating officials of the actress assault is over. After examining the statements, they will be quizzed together.

SP Mohanachandran is examining the statements. The list of those to be questioned together will be prepared after examining the statement. Dileep and others were questioned at the crime branch office in Kalamassery. The interrogation started at 9 am and ended at 8 pm. They will be questioned again tomorrow and Tuesday. The report is expected to be filed in the Crime Branch High Court on Tuesday.

ADGP S Sreejith had said after the initial questioning that there was more evidence against Dileep and it cannot be said whether he was cooperating with the investigation. Meanwhile, Dileep has filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking immediate completion of the trial in the case. Dileep had filed the petition against the government's demand for more time for further investigation. The petition will be heard by the Supreme Court tomorrow.
