CPM leader hacked to death in Thiruvalla

THIRUVALLA: A CPM local secretary was hacked to death in Thiruvalla on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Perngara local secretary PB Sandeep Kumar. The attack took place at around 8 pm tonight. The incident took place at Mepral in Thiruvalla. Sandeep was also a former panchayat member.

Sources said that Sandeep was attacked by a three-member gang that reached the area on a bike. Peringara region had been witnessing clashes between RSS and CPM workers for the past few days. The CPM local leadership alleged that the RSS was behind the murder.
