Dispute during ganamela, youth stabbed to death in Kochi

KOCHI: A youth was stabbed to death in Kaloor. He has been identified as Rajesh (24) of Palluruthi. The incident happed last midnight. A dispute that broke out during a ganamela and a laser show organised by a private company near the Kaloor Stadium in Kochi, ended in the murder.

One of the accused misbehaved with a girl in the midst of the programme. The organisers later ousted him from the venue where the programme was held. After the end of the programme, the accused returned to question the act. Rajesh killed, was also present there at the time of the incident. One of the accused stabbed Rajesh in the midst of the argument.

The police have identified the two suspects and their arrest will be recorded soon. The body has been shifted to the hospital for post-mortem.
