Dispute over video shooting on social media; woman set ablaze

KOLLAM: The woman who was set ablaze in Anchal succumbed to her injuries. The dead has been identified as Athira of Kaipallymukku in Anchal. Her live-in partner Shanawas poured kerosene on her body and set her afire. The incident happened Tuesday evening. Athira in her statement had mentioned his name. A dispute over a video shooting on social media led to the murder. Shanawas who sustained 40 % injuries is under treatment.
