KOTTAYAM: CBI team is set to arrive in Mundakayam tomorrow following new revelations from a former lodge employee in Jesna case. The employee claims to have seen Jesna at a lodge in Mundakayam just days before she went missing. The CBI plans to record her statement and has already instructed her to cooperate with the investigation.

Earlier today, the CBI team contacted the former employee by phone to gather preliminary information. Their primary goal is to assess the credibility of her statement. The investigation team will also question the lodge owner, Biju Xavier and plans to seize the lodge register for further examination.

The ex-employee recently revealed to the media that she recognized Jesna from a newspaper photo and realized that it was Jesna she had seen at the lodge. However, she did not disclose this information earlier due to threats from the lodge owner. According to her, Jesna was accompanied by a young man, and they spent three to four hours at the lodge.

In response, lodge owner Biju Xavier has denied the allegations, claiming that the former employee’s statements are false and motivated by personal enmity against him.

Jesna's father, James, has also dismissed the ex-employee’s claims, stating that they are an attempt to divert the investigation. He expressed confidence in the CBI's ongoing investigation.
