Sahar was the driver of a private bus operating service on Thrissur-Triprayar route. He was dragged from the house of his female friend, wife of an expat. Reports said that he came to her house following a call received.

The moral goons came to question his visit and then attacked him brutally. After the incident, Sahar came home and was crying out of pain. His mother and other relatives rushed him to hospital. After his condition worsened, he was put on ventilator.

The visuals of attacking him were captured on CCTV placed in a nearby temple. Police identified the six accused and said they are absconding. Murder charge will be imposed on them. Sahar was a bachelor.
