Minor girl roams around with boyfriend, two others at night; police arrest three youths

KOZHIKODE: Three youths were arrested by Chevayur police for roaming on a beach here with a minor girl at night. The arrested have been identified as Aboobakkar Naif (18), of Palathupoyil in Parambil, Afzal (19) from Bora Valappu and Mohammad Fazil (18) from Kulanagarapeedika.

The incident took place on Sunday night. As per the police, the girl called her boyfriend and left with him. She then went to Kappad Beach and Pantheeranakavu with her boyfriend and two other friends. The girl's brother lodged a complaint with the police on Monday.

The girl and the youth were found during the investigation conducted using the tower location. The girl was allowed to go with her relatives. The arrested youth was released on bail. Meanwhile, the girl will be produced before the magistrate today.
