BENGALURU: The vacation bench of the Karnataka High Court postponed considering Bineesh Kodiyeri's bail plea in the money laundering case, to May 19. Although Bineesh's lawyer said the argument could be completed in five minutes, the court refused to pay heed to it. The court said more cases are to be considered and that his case is being postponed for the time being.

Bineesh's main demand was to grant him interim bail for a few days to see his ailing father. His main claim was to grant him bail to look after his father Kodiyeri Balakrishnan suffering from cancer.

The lawyer informed the court that the money in Bineesh's account was gained through vegetable business. It has been 204 days since Bineesh was arrested by the ED in the case.
