Probe in Sandeep murder case progressing, Vishnu admits phone call as his own

THIRUVALLA: The investigation in the murder of Peringara CPM local secretary P B Sandeep Kumar is progressing. Vishnu, the fifth accused in the case, admitted that the phone conversation was his.

Vishnu's phone conversation is the most crucial piece of evidence the investigation team has obtained. In the phone conversation, Vishnu is heard telling his friend that he hacked Sandeep on his neck and that only three people will go to jail. He also mentioned about one Mithun of Changanassery. The investigation team has found that he is also an accused in criminal cases.

The investigation team has not yet received the results of the scientific examination of the phone conversation. Meantime, a search conducted at his house recovered some deadly weapons including a machete.
