Relatives of couple seeking divorce clash at court premises, issue solved after police intervention

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A fight broke out between the relatives of couple seeking divorce at the Vanchiyoor family court premises. The incident took place at 2.30 pm on Monday. While discussing the issue related to divorce, the relatives of the couple who are natives of Karode got into a verbal argument and came to blows. Locals who witnessed the incident informed this to the Vanchiyoor police. Then the police came and took both groups to the station. They solved the problem there and returned. Neither party lodged a complaint.

However, the Vanchiyoor police have registered a case against the relatives and the natives of Karode, Tintu and Suresh, in the incident. Their arrest was recorded and then released on bail. The police informed that a case of assault has been charged against them.
