Actress attack case: Nod to record Balachandra Kumar’s secret statement

KOCHI: Permission was granted to record the secret statement of director Balachandra Kumar, who made new revelations in the case of attacking the actress. The Ernakulam CJM court Thursday accepted the demand of the police.

The investigating team sees Kumar's revelation as an important evidence to prove the conspiracy in the case. That is why the probe team approached the court with a demand to register his secret statement. It will be decided in the coming days in which court the secret statement will be recorded. After that, summons will be sent to director Kumar.

Balachandra Kumar had revealed that Dileep has close links with Pulsar Suni alias Sunil Kumar, the main accused in the case and the actor has the visuals of the actress attacked.

Meantime, the plea filed by the prosecution in the high court against the stand of the trial court has been postponed to tomorrow. The plea filed in the high court against the trial court alleged that important information is not being recorded and the plea seeking the original copy of the CDR was rejected.
