1 crore compensation to Ananthu's family..Adani company representatives visited Ananthu's house and announced that they will pay 1 crore rupees to the family of BDS student Ananthu, who died after a rock fell from the tipper carrying rocks for the construction of Vizhinjam port.

We raised this demand in the meeting presided over by the Collector. Although this assistance will not replace Ananthu's life, it can be believed that it will bring some relief to the family who are currently facing severe financial obligations including education loans. Along with this, the District Collector today released the standard operating conditions for the transport of goods for the construction of the Vizhinjam port. If the authorities, the police and the transport department are ready to ensure that it is strictly followed, accidents like this can be avoided...
