THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The assembly meeting which will start tomorrow only for lawmaking is notable due to many reasons. The government is worried whether the Governor will sign the bills that will be passed by the assembly. The rift between the Kerala government and Governor makes the session relevant. The Opposition is all set to attack the government by raising various issues.
Raj Bhavan becomes the centre of political attention as the bills are supposed to reach Governor for approval. At the same time, the government is also considering not to include the controversial university amendment to avoid provoking Governor.
Such an unusual situation arose just one month after the budget session. The ordinances which were passed by assembly in last session became void as Governor refused to sign them. With this, the government was forced to call for an assembly session suddenly.
