Attack towards AKG Centre to be discussed in assembly today

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The government is ready to discuss the adjournment motion moved by the opposition over the attack on the AKG centre. The discussion will be from 1 pm to 3 pm. The members selected from both sides will participate in the discussion and speak. The fact that the accused could not be found even after four days of the incident may put the government on the defensive. This is the second time in this session the government suspending the house proceedings to discuss the motion.

The last time the opposition moved the motion saying that if Swapna's allegation in connection with the gold smuggling case is false, then why is the chief minister not filing a defamation case? The opposition issued a notice for an adjournment motion alleging that the government had tried to subvert the serious allegations of Swapna's secret statement against the chief minister. The opposition alleged that tried to sabotage the gold smuggling after correcting Swapna’s statement using the vigilance director. The notice of Shafi Parampil from the opposition had demanded to discuss this concern.
