Bids adieu to Riza Bava, buried with full state honours

KOCHI: The mortal remains of actor Riza Bava, who passed away last evening, was laid to rest will full state honours. The final rites were held at Chembittapally Juma Masjid, Kochangadi. The rites adhered to Covid protocol.

There were no public homage as the samples collected from the actor’s body tested positive for Covid. The body kept at the private hospital in Kochi was taken to his hometown this morning.

Ernakulam district collector arrived to pay homage. He died Monday evening at 3.30 pm at a private hospital in Kochi. He was undergoing treatment for kidney ailments for quite some time.
