Young couple seeks blessings by touching feet, CM attends wedding of former Speaker Sreeramakrishnan's daughter

MALAPPURAM: Niranjana, daughter of former speaker and Norka Roots Vice Chairman P Sreeramakrishnan and wife Divya, got married today at an old age home under Social Justice Department in Thavanoor. Sangeeth, a native of PTP Nagar, Whitepearl, Thiruvananthapuram is the groom. Many dignitaries attended the function. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan also attended the wedding and blessed the couple. CM was accompanied by Thavanoor MLA KT Jaleel.

Niranjana and Sangeeth seeked CM's blessings by touching his feet and he blessed them by placing his hands on their head. The CM returned soon. Sangeeth is the son of Sivakumar and Chithralekha. Niranjana works in the HR department in the Uralungal Labour Contract Co-Operative Society in Kozhikode. She is an MBA graduate.

Sangeeth, who is currently running a paint business was Niranjana's senior. It was Niranjana's decision to hold the wedding in the presence of mothers at the old age home as she has grown very close with them.
