Congress leader seen bathing in rain; passengers surprised 

KOTTAYAM: A Congress leader was seen bathing in the rain in protest against the leakage in the bus stand. The bathing strike which was different from other protests was seen at the Pala Kottaramattom bus stand last evening. Congress Pala constituency president Thomas R V Jose staged the bathing protest.

The roof near the passengers’ rest room of Kottaramattom bus stand renovated as a memorial to K M Mani, collapsed and water was seeping in. When it rains, there will be waterlogging to such an extent that passengers cannot even stand in the area. Thomas protested by bathing as a solution could not be found for the matter even after a long time.
