Couple electrocuted in Karunagapally, suspected case of suicide

KOLLAM: A couple was found dead in Karunagapally. They have been identified as Sabu and Sheeja of Kallelibhagom. They were electrocuted to death in a suspected case of suicide. Police also hint the same.

The couple’s son Abhinav found the two lying dead. An electric wire was found tied around their bodies. Initial reports said the family had financial liabilities and may have taken the drastic step due to it. The police have registered a case of unnatural death. The bodies are now kept at the district hospital. The body will be handed over to the relatives after the postmortem.
