Defeat in Kundara and Karunagapally constituencies; CPM seeks explanation from district leaders

KOLLAM: The CPM has sought an explanation from the district leaders on the defeats in the Kundara and Karunagapally constituencies in the Assembly elections. The party has sought an explanation from CPM Kollam district secretariat members PR Vasanthan, Thulaseedhara Kurup and NS Prasannakumar. Thulseedhara Kurup is the husband of former minister J Mercykutty Amma. The party has also sought an explanation from Kundara area secretary SL Sajikumar. The decision was taken at a district leadership meeting attended by state secretary A Vijayaraghavan.
