State has police officers who have links with goons, DGP Anil Kant demands to register case

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: DGP Anil Kant has clarified that there are police officers in the state who have links with goons. The DGP made the revelation at a meeting of top officials held in the capital.

During the meeting, the DGP demanded that the goons have links with some policemen and that cases should be registered against such officers. The police should remain careful in order to prevent communal clashes and killings in the state. The DGP said that leaders of many organizations were making provocative hate speeches and such people should be arrested.
