Dileep can now peacefully fly to Germany

KOCHI: Actor Dileep can now fly to Germany with no worries. Ernakulam Principal Sessions court on Thursday ordered return of his passport.

The court issued the order while accepting the argument of Dileep’s counsel that passport will have to be submitted as a prerequisite for getting work visa.

Dileep, an accused in the actress attack case, had surrendered his passport in the court. He has asked for his passport as he has to be at Frankfurt in Germany from December 15 to January 30.

Meanwhile, Prosecution submitted in the court that it was his ploy to delay the trial. Journeys taken under the pretext of shooting was part of the actor’s move to influence witnesses in the case.

But Dileep’s counsel pleaded in the court to allow him to get his visa stamped and that he was ready to follow any condition imposed by the court.

Several films of Dileep are due for release. His last film was Kamara Sambavam.
