Discrepancy in Dileep's statement, says Crime Branch

KOCHI: The interrogation of Dileep and other accused in the case of conspiring to endanger the life of the investigating officers of actress assault case is in progress. It is learnt that Dileep has denied all allegations during interrogation. According to officials, Dileep's statement is full of discrepancies and he responds passively to the questions.

The allegations of conspiracy is false. I have never hurt anyone in my life. When the assault videos was shown in the court, I stood up against that. I did not want to see the actress in that condition, Dileep said during the interrogation.

After the initial questioning, ADGP S Sreejith said that more evidences are available against Dileep. No comments can be made as of now about his cooperation to the investigation. The first day interrogation will end at 8 p.m.
