THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Pinarayi Vijayan has come up with a reply to KPCC president K Sudhakaran MP following an abusive remark against the Chief Minister. "There is no difference in the meaning of the word patti (dog) in Travancore and Malabar, and in Travancore and Malabar the word 'changala' (chain) means the same. It all shows the culture of each person. Let the community evaluate whether this is right or wrong," he told the media.

The CM said the government was not interested in a case. Pinarayi Vijayan said that the police may have registered a case on the instructions of the Election Commission. He further said that the victory in the by-elections to the local bodies has boosted his confidence.
