E P Jayarajan cites health issues for not attending Raj Bhavan march, party had granted leave

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The absence of LDF convenor E P Jayarajan in the Raj Bhavan march organized the other day as part of the political strike against the governor, was a subject of discussion. Meanwhile, Jayarajan came forward explaining that he did not partake in the strike due to health issues.

He said that he had informed the party earlier and had taken a leave. Jayarajan said post-Covid complications are troubling him. There are more health issues now. He said that he is sleeping with the help of devices. He said that he is on allopathy and ayurveda treatments. Jayarajan said that he was in the hospital for three weeks and had informed the party not to inform the media. Attended some pre-scheduled events from the hospital and that worsened his condition. Jayarajan said following that imposed some restrictions on his own.

The LDF meet decided the march organized by the higher education protection committee with the support of the Left Front. A seat was arranged for the convenor in the front row of the venue. Jayarajan had informed to attend the march. However, his absence gained attention. It is also alleged that he was dissatisfied with the functioning of the party and the government.
