Fuel prices up again; net hike of more than Rs 10 within 16 days

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Fuel prices were hiked again on Tuesday in the state. Petrol and diesel prices were hiked by Rs 87 paise and Rs 84 paise per litre respectively. In Thiruvananthapuram, one litre of petrol will now cost Rs 116.32 and diesel will cost Rs 103.10.

In Kochi, Tuesday’s rates for a litre of petrol and diesel are Rs 114.20 and Rs 101.11 respectively. In Kozhikode, the petrol price has gone up to Rs 114.49 per litre and diesel price per litre is Rs 101.42.

The petrol price has been hiked by Rs 10.01 and diesel price by Rs 9.67 within the last 16 days. Last day, petrol price was increased by 44 paise and diesel price by 42 paise.
