Heavy rain; Holiday for educational institutions in Kannur tomorrow, Kannur university postpones exams

KANNUR: Due to heavy rains, holiday have been declared to educational institutions in Kannur district. The District Collector informed that the holiday is applicable to professional colleges, CBSE, ICSE schools and anganwadis. Kannur University has informed through a press release that all the exams that were to be held tomorrow have been postponed due to heavy rainfall.

Isolated heavy rainfall warning has been issued across the state for the next three hours today. This was informed by the Central Meteorological Department. It is reported that there will be heavy downpour in North Kerala.
