Kerala records 4677 COVID-19 cases on Friday, 33 deaths

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 4677 COVID-19 cases on Friday. Among these, 4320 persons developed the disease through contact, including 308 cases without an identified source of infection. 16 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 33 health workers contracted the disease on Friday.

6632 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 49,459 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 33 deaths due to the virus on Friday with the toll rising to 39,125.

Ernakulam 823, Thiruvananthapuram 633, Kozhikode 588, Thrissur 485, Kottayam 369, Kollam 330, Kannur 295, Palakkad 208, Pathanamthitta 202, Wayanad 202, Malappuram 162, Idukki 150, Alappuzha 144, Kasaragod 86.
