Kerala records 9445 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, 93 deaths

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 9445 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday. Among these, 9069 persons developed the disease through contact, including 297 cases without an identified source of infection. 28 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 51 health workers contracted the disease on Wednesday.

6723 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 76,554 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 93 deaths due to the virus on Wednesday with the toll rising to 29,977.

Ernakulam 1517, Thiruvananthapuram 1284, Kozhikode 961, Thrissur 952, Kottayam 840, Kollam 790, Idukki 562, Pathanamthitta 464, Malappuram 441, Kannur 422, Palakkad 393, Alappuzha 340, Wayanad 333, Kasaragod 146.
