KANNUR: KPCC president K Sudhakaran said that KV Thomas or his explusion is of no importance to the party. He also said that KV Thomas is not in the party now.

The report was submitted to the AICC after the suspension. KV Thomas is not in the Congress party now. When we say no, he says yes. How can you work for the CPM from the Congress? The AICC has started the process as per the instructions of the KPCC," said Sudhakaran.

KV Thomas had said that he would campaign for the Left candidate Joe Joseph in the Thrikkakara by-election like he did in his own election. He also challenged the Congress to expel him if they could. Sudhakaran was responding to this remark. Thomas said he would attend the inaugural function of the Left Front campaign organized by the Chief Minister tomorrow and the campaign events in the following days.
