MALAPPURAM: Bobby Chemmannur said that he was certain that the Malayalis would join hands for the release of Abdul Rahim. "After bringing Abdul Rahim home, I will go to his mother (Umma). The lucky draw announced for Rahim will continue." Bobby Chemmannur said that this amount will be spent on Rahim's rehabilitation.

When I started a fundraising campaign titled 'Yachaka Yatra' for Rahim a week ago, the Legal Aid Samiti had only 2.40 crores in its account. After that many organizations and philanthropists joined hands. Boche Fans Charitable Trust worked in all districts." Bobby Chemmannur said that as a result of everyone's efforts, we were able to collect 34 crore rupees quickly and we are very thankful to everyone.

Bobby Chemmannur handed over one crore rupees to the charity for the release of Abdul Rahim. Bobby reached Panakkad at 6 pm today and handed over the cheque to Muslim League state president Sadiq Ali Thangal. Sadiq Ali Thangal informed that the amount will be handed over to Abdul Rahim Legal Aid Committee. Bobby Chemmannur got a big reception at Panakkad. PK Kunhalikutty and Abbasali Shihab Thangal also came to receive him.
