Medico from Thrissur drowns in Russia, incident happened days left to return home

THRISSUR: It has been informed that a medical student drowned in Russia. She has been identified as Femy Chandra, daughter of Chandran of Elanadu Kizhakkumuri Puthenpurayil and Jayasree.

It was informed that, Femi, who completed her medical graduation from Smolensk State Medical University in Russia, fell into a lake during a pleasure trip with friends. Exact information is not available.

Her parents were all ready to go to Russia on June 30 to bring her back. She had last visited home in June 2021. Varun is her sibling.
